New guy with a 1989 d250
Howdy.
I'm Joe, and I just bought a 1989 d250. The truck is 318 EFI, auto, and built like a brick house. It came with a slightly leaky EOH dump bed, and has been a nice source of extra income over the past two weeks. It doesn't have the most energy getting up hills weighing 9000lbs, but when you pile that gravel on there right, you can hardly tell its there except for the power, braking, and gas mileage. This truck is now my daily driver. Right now, she has 143k miles, and is still kicking. I've always been a mopar fan, but being 17, this is my first chance to actually own one, and I know I'm sold.
Future mods include a cheapo flowmaster clone (maybe a thrush), air filter, and possibly a chip. It might be ugly, beat, and smell like horse crap, but for a work truck, I think its nearly flawless (at least until I get the next dodge, and see what I'm missing).
