Sorry if there is a thread like this, but i couldn't find one with a simmilar problem.

I own a 1997 Dodge Ram with the 318 V8. I recently put a magna flow muffler on it, pretty sure its part number 11256, anyways since i put it on its been making a weird noise, almost like a farting noise (hard to explain) when you go hard on the gas. I'm not sure if its because of the way i put it on but I got it about 2.5 feet behind the c/c then muffler, then i got a 90 degree elbow and a straight pipe out the side infront of the rear tire on the passenger side. I want to fix it because it kind of annoys me. Any suggestions or ideas would be awsome.

 

you may need an exhaust tip that is fluted (has a shlt load of slots on the inside) that will change the sound of wot (wide open throttle)

 

you may also try 1st gen ram they are farther don on the home page
