Question new member with a question

hi,i'm a new member, bilandsam.this forum is a great opportunity to meet new people with experience in solving auto related problems.i just finished
repairing a 2005 dakota total.although i'm not having any performance
related problems,i checked for any stored codes and found a p0001 code.
the explaination is a fuel volumn regulator control circuit open code.i can-
not find any reference to this in my hanes repair manual.can anyone please explain to me if this is a problem that i need to repair & if this can
be repaired on my own? any help would be greatly appreciated.thank you.

Welcome to the site. That code does not exist as far as I can tell. The guys in the third generation Dakota section would be able to help you,
