Unhappy hello all !

just a regular guy with a stubborn desire to do nuts and bolts repairs on my 2nd gen. intrepid es! love this car at 150,000 miles but she needs some tlc.
just replaced front struts, their used off low mileage es. Problem is i replaced sway bar links with moog links that were about 3/4 in. shorter than originals. Guys at autoquest triple checked and said they were the ones. Now my camber is way off! top off tire is farther inward than bottom (negative camber ?). I plan to get an alignment but dont see the point if mechanic just tells me what im thinkin, that the shorter link is pulling the tire in too much too align as is.
any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
