New from Arizona
Got an 01 Durango SLT 4x4 5.9L .. Took me three months to find this vehicle back in 2001. Love this vehicle..
One evening back in August 2008 we were at a friends wedding recpetion basically out in the middle of the desert, well the upper radiator hose blew when I drove about 2 miles to the motel and I didn't notice it. Next day heading back home had about a 12 mile downhill. No problems.. Got to the bottom of the hill and was coming up a little grade (outside temp was about 110, normal for this time of year) and I heard something from the engine. It dies in an intersection where there was a Dollar Store and a convenience store. Opened the hood saw the damage. Ended up having two warped heads. Rebuilt the engine (not me, my mechanic friend) and she runs nice. Last year the tranny goes.. $3k for that..
