Talking Hello

My name is Nick, I come to you guys from NW Indiana. I'm 17 and have been driving for about a week. I was driving a 1993 Chevy Lumina for that week, but I was really brutal on that car and now it has a rod knocking, Haha. So it's pretty much scrap and now I'm pretty sure I'm getting a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 with some odds and ends including after market mufflers. If I don't get this particular one, I'm defiantly going to get another 1500. I'm VERY excited and I'm pretty sure this truck is going to have plenty of power and can handle that power unlike my poor Lumina. I'm a big gear head and I'm looking at purchasing $1000 worth of performance parts from Summit Racing, so I'm most likely going to need your guys' help because nothing ever goes as planned and I've never worked on these trucks at all before. I hope to learn from these forums and get the most out of what is hopefully going to be my truck without killing it.
