Default Bill here...

Hey, I'm Bill... I used to come here for answers but now i'm trying to actually join in the communal feelings and all

I just got a 92 Blue Dakota ext. cab, with the 3.9 magnum automatic, a tonneau cover and chrome bumpers

The automatic has a few problems, but that's why I'm here right?

It has 120,000 and i picked it up for $1,000 with some bad transmission cooler lines, a broken rear window, and an exhaust leak

Since then, I've fixed
- the transmission lines (obviously)
- New Plugs
- the rear window

There's a few things wrong with it that I want to work on so I can really feel on top of the world riding around in it, because it could be a really sweet truck with some time and TLC.
- Fix the cruise control
- exhaust leak
- lower on road noise ( I seem to be getting a lot from the drivers side rear seat/window)
- Aftermarket CD Player and some new speakers, front and rear!!!!
- troubleshoot some transmission trouble I've been having with shifting/popping into nuetra

I've worked on a decent amount of cars but they've all been front wheel drive pretty much.
I've pulled engines, transmissions, done head gaskets, and worked on pretty much every component of the car in one aspect or another...

But there's still so much more to learn, whether on a different engine configuration or brand or this or that. So that's why I'm here! to spread my knowledge and tap your guys as well!

Keep wrenching!
Bill
