Default New memeber from Washington but a traveler parkie

Hey everyone .I just found this site tonight looking at getting back into a dodge neon but not sure really if it is a good fit for traveling around the us from season to season etc. I owned a dodge neon 2004 and loved but the only thing I hated about the car was it was an auto . I mean why do they even make Auto's is sport's cars now a days just wrong IMO but any who. I've been searching around the CL adds and hard to see what price is a good price for the average Neon or even the SRT version. Either I go will be taking out a loan to pay the car , I don't think I could get 6 k out of my current suv which is a 87 4runner with 190k ,however, I have just about rebuilt the darn motor due breakage and leaks . What do you guys think here ??
