Talking Glad to be here

Well i've finally got around to saying hello to all my fellow members. I have been fixing problems on my truck with all the great help from the excellent questions and answers from all of you. I have fixed my wipers by replacing the bushings and the advice about removing the setup to the workbench was a great idea. I also fixed my heater blower by cleaning the connections at the resistor plug and have all fan speeds now. I fixed my instrument cluster by pulling it out far enough to reach behind it and pushing the plug connections in. I guess they were loose due to all the dash slapping i use to do to get the cluster to work again. It's nice to know how fast your going and how much gas is left in the tank. Oh and now i can read my stored codes with the neat trick of using the ignition switch and the check engine lite. I bought this truck new and have only had to replace the brakes, water pump, radiator, starter and battery so i guess i have been lucky. The engine has always run great and is still strong as ever with just over 107,000 miles on it. I still have things to fix like my upper control arm bushings and my radio which doesn't work even though i'm getting power at the plug. I've read here that they don't last to long so i guess it's time for a new one. Sorry this is so long but i just wanted to let everyone know just how much you all have helped me with my problems and helping me keep my truck on the road. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Default Intro

Hello to all.
Recently I purchased a 2009 RAM 1500 crew cab truck. Now I used to be a staunch GM guy and woudl not even give Dodge a glance. The body and interiors looked bland and genral in appearance. This new body and interior are inviting, agressive, motivatinal, and have attitude to boot. Now I didn't get the HEMI but the 4.7L engine has plenty of power and kick when asked to do so.
Look forward to talking to everyone.
