Default 89 d100 with early 360

Does anyone know what problems I will encounter putting a early 360 with a caburator and old style electronic ignition in this truck? will I have to go to a one wire Gm style altenator? can I still use the same fuel pump/sending unit in the tank? Any info would help, Thanks

Welcome to Dodge Forum.

What do you mean by "Old style Ignition?" You can wire, if it already isn't, it for a two wire alternator and use the correct voltage regulator with it. I'm not sure I understand your concerns about the fuel pump and sending unit. Is it an electric pump? It should be OK, but you'll need a regulator and maintain any recirculation fuel lines to the tank.

What are you intentions for the truck?
