Jeep guy, just got a Dakota Quad
Hey everyone. I'm glad to find such a good forum for Dodge's.
I've been a Jeep guy since high school, been on www.jeepforum.com forever, and it was great, so i'm looking forward to being a member of a similar site for my new purchase.
I've owned 5 jeep SUV's in the last 10 years, and when my latest grand cherokee is starting to die, while car shopping, i happened upon a black 2002 Dakota quad cab.
I had gone to this specific lot to look at some liberties, my company has bought commercial trucks from them in the past, and have had good experience there.
They had this black quad cab on the lot, and despite the number of miles on it, i decided to take a chance on it.
Drove it twice, took it home for my family to see, took it to the desert to put it thru its paces, and i decided it was the truck for me.
I've been informed that my bank sent the money to the dealer friday, so hopefully monday i pick up the keys.
My new truck is a 2002 dakota quad cab, black, 4x4, 4.7 liter engine, 129k miles on it, and other then some oxidized clear coat on the roof and front fender, its in beautiful shape for its age.
New Mexico truck its entire life, no rust, and other then the typical used truck damage in the bed, its in great condition.
I've got some plans for this truck, and i look forward to the future.
