Just bought my second Dodge pickup. Been out of a truck for a while, and looking to use the forum to get feedback on some ideas that I am having. I am wanting to lower my gas milage and due to the fact that I am a college student I don't have much money to through around. I have considered cold air intakes, programmers, and HHO cells, but if I spend the money it has gotta work. I am less skeptical of the cold air intakes than any of the others. Feel free to shoot me some ideas on this. I know the basic stuff about fuel economy, but I am hoping that there's something else I can do to make it the better.

Welcome to the site. A Prius will lower your gas mileage, but what year and model is your pickup?

Welcome to the site! CAI is usually a plus I put headers and cat back flowmaster exhaust and spectre CAI on my truck. It did boost mpgs but only by 3 mpg so after 500.00 in parts really not worth it. I just wanted the add ons I could careless about mpgs at this point lol

Welcome to the site! I have an 05 Dakota and on a good day on the highway I get about 17 mpg, looking to boost that, but so far after calculating, I'll be spending a lot just for about a 3 mpg gain...sometimes I think of taking my 300SD or Taurus with me to N.C. instead...or maybe even find a 3 cylinder Geo Metro xD
