Hello from the Land of Aghan
Hey all,
Just chilling in Afghanistan on business. I own a 2005 Dakota SLT with the 4.7L V8 and 4WD, have had her for about 3 years now and she's still kicking, although everytime I come back from deployment it seems the valve springs are worn (wonder why that is?)...so, I figured why not get a new valvetrain this time around? I ordered some H/O cams and necessary hardware like stronger springs and retainers and even some new lifters two weeks back, they arrived a few days ago to my house in PA. Can't wait to get back and put those suckers in! I have a good idea of what direction I want to go with my truck, but any and all suggestions, comments, questions, and/or concerns are welcome :]

Thanks for the welcomes! I'm Active AF.
The lift kit interest thread for the 3rd Gen Dakota that's going on actually brought me to this site, so I've been just rolling around in there for a bit, trying to get more ideas for my Dak.
