Just joining/ my story.
I've been a huge fan of Ram trucks for years, not really a fan of newer ones though, 2nd gen is the peak for me, at least until they step up their game a bit more.
First truck was a 1999 Ram 1500 Quad Cab SLT, forest green, 3in lift, 5.2L 4x4 Auto. Sold now after it developed every problem imaginable (exhaust from manifolds back, slipping transmission, tie rod ends, power steering box, track bar, ball joints and hubs, and body rust).
Just bought a 2000 Ram 2500, hoping that the heavier duty components would prevent some of the issues, not so much. Had a shop inspect it before I bought it, they lied to me and told me it needed nothing but tires, now I've got about $3500 to fix on it, need some help on some decisions, so now I'm here.
I tend to post tldr... sorry. I'm from New Hampshire, I work with computers (I own a business and work for Microsoft) and I also have a 2000 Saab 9-3 Viggen. Hello world!
