Hi all,
I have just purchased an AT4 cab chassis and need to know the approximate weight for towing. I can tow 2100kg. My trailer weighs 800kg. So, would a AT4, cab chassis weigh 1300kg?. Please help.
Details... Slant six, four speed, dual wheels, complete cab chassis.
The person I purchased it from also has dodge V8 for $250.00, Was hoping to put that on the trailer also.
Thanks all. Apart from that I have owned no Dodge vehicles prior to this, ( just a CM Valiant),, Does that count?
I live in Lismore, n.s.w, AUS.
6 children, work hard as a concretor.

Hi, yes sorry guys, I forgot its an American site. The Dodge AT4 is an Australian Truck series 4. They came out from 1960- 1970. Most had the 225c.i slant six. Later models have the 245 Hemi. Various v8 models from the 318 to 396 v8. They came in a variety of Tonnage weights too.. ( 1 To 5 tonne capacity)
Our telecommunications company in Aus bought hundreds of them for a variety of roles, (mine had a cable roll/layer on the back).
Here in Aus, they are very well known for their work in banana fields. Dual wheel, 2 tonne capacity, reliable easy to repair engine made them very popular.
