3rd dodge. 1st post :)
Hello everybody.
I just purchased a 2000 Durango (4.7 4x4). She's got 106k :O
This is my second Durango. The first was a 2001 R/T, Magnaflow exhaust system, throttle body spacers, cold air intake... The AWD would suck with gas prices now, but I still miss her.
I also had a 98 Dakota 4x4 with a 6 in it. What an awesome truck that I beat the hell out of
Anyway I came here seeking better gas mileage! I just did my full tank calculation and came up with 13.2 mpg. I don't think this thing was well taken care of. The front rims were a pain in the *** to get the brake dust off! Had to of been there for a few years!
I'll be lurking.. I read the fallowing as a good start to improvements.
"Air intake, exhaust, 180 t-stat, check tire pressure and alignment, change spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor"
See ya'll around!
Long intro post... Not working today, very bored!
