Default Newbie with a AVIC Z130BT Issue/problem

Hi to all, I recently added a Pioneer Z130bt Navigation/Bluetooth phone system to my RAM 1500. I am not sure if this is the correct forum but I thought I would give it a try.

The issue is a phone prioblem with the Z130bt in that when I call out via bluetooth the call connects and the person called answers, but I do not hear the responder or I may hear part of a "Hello". The person called can hear my voice until one of us disconnects. The failure seems to be a muting or blocking of the responders voice. I should say that this happens on most calls but not all, sometimes a call will go through normally.

I am using an Iphone 4 that has handled the bluetooth system of my wife's Prius flawlessly for more than 3 years. The dealer I bought the Z130bt system from is some 200 miles away and I wonder if I have defective unit or perhaps a setup issue. I have had the z130bt for about a week so a defective unit is possible.

Regards Don

Welcome to the site.

Have you tried calling Pioneer since it is their HU? Maybe they can help you out.
