Let me introduce myself. I have been a Dodge man for some time now. Owning a 1985 Dodge 4wd(235,000 mi.) when I got a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, (267,000) and just purchase a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Club Cab (Hemi)w/100,00 mi.
I have always been proud of the way they have held up and very little trouble except the routine maintenance. I would say my only complaint was the paint job on the 1996 as it started to fade, etc. I bought the new truck because I purchased a 32' bumper pull camper last year and also a 8Wx8Hx16'L enclosed trailer and just didn't seem to have the power I needed with the 5.2L in the 96. Hopefully this will not be an issue now! I have attached a photo of my truck.
