Ok, just my third or fourth post here and it is another problem with my 2011 RAM. I hit an exteded mirror on a rental truck the other day with my right side mirror, the mirror is supposed to colapse and fold in. Mine stayed stationary and broke the clip on facia that extends over the lower section of the front of the mirror. No the mirrors were not extended out for towing, they were turned down in the normal cruising mode. Anyhow, the dealership says that I can only purchase the entire mirror assembly or just the glass, not the single piece that broke off. It is a clip on part that is attached to the mirror and it should have a replacement part just for this reason. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Thanks the glass is fine, just the plastic facia is broken.
