installed a used tranny shifted when installed
I installed a used tranny when my mechanic first installed it , it shifted fine about 6 miles later it stopped it goes into reverse fine but won;t shif in the forward gears. I can hear the band likes its trying to engage but it won't . In the manual it says wnen you change the tranny fluid you have to adjust the bands the one on the left side of the tranny the other is inside the pan . This is a 1993 d150 ,can anyone help me solve this problem.
