Hello all! I bought my Dodge QC 4.7L new in 2004. I've had Chevy and Ford trucks in the past, but will never give up my Dodge! This forum seems to be a great place to meet other Dodgelovers and to learn a great deal more about my vehicle.

Hey everyone... Well I am new to this Forum and I see a lot of good info. I need it cause I just bought a 07 Ram 1500 SLT 2wd, 4.7 V-8. I am currently working here in Korea and I am searching for chips, intake, bed cover, etc etc etc...

It is much better than my 2000 Impala as everyone gets out of my way when I come up from behind them... Got to love the respect of a bigger vehicle on the road...

I hope to get the most of this site for my RAM...

I'm a 50ish kid that has owned several Dodge products and have even restored one. I'm a truck driver but retired from driving over the road. I just do Local stuff now. I own a 1999 Dodge Dakota Sport Edition Pick up with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, 5 speed trannie with an upgraded pioneer AM/FM CD /MP3/XM satelite stereo from Pioneer. Butmy baby is a 1962 Dodge C-10 1/2 ton "Fleetside" Pick up with the 235 CID Slant 6 cylinder, a Saginaw 3 speed Transmission and a Saginaw rear axle with Saginaw Steering box. Something Dodge did away with when they went to Borg-Warner for trannies and Dana for rear axles. This truck was the predesessor to the Power Wagon. I've completed the frame up restoration, rebuilt the engine, trans and rear end. Busted booty to get parts to rebuild the front end ("A" arms, ball joints and bushings are very hard to get, fortunately, there are some substitutes.). Body work is done with extensive fabrication of new sheet metal as to eliminate "BONDO".I replace the entire wiring harness and modified it to allow me to install some options like a AM/FM CD radio, A/C oh and a Heater! Yes, this truck came from the factory WITHOUT a cab Heater. No defroster, no blower motor, nada. It looks good 'cuz my add-ons look retro to the era. I've got polaroids of the truck from start to current stage. I just got to get them digitalized so as to post. I still have topick out the colors for the paint and for the materials for the interior. I've got 8 years in this truck and have builtit for 1 thing, CRUISING!
