Hey everybody. Noob here from Southeast Nebraska. Just took delivery of a 2001 Ram SLT Quad Cab 4x4. Found this site because of "surging" of the RPM while on cruise control on the flat.

Did a search, found out the TPS is might be causing problems. I'm gonna change out the Throttle Position Sensor. It's got a new trans so I'm not worried about that.

Otherwise, I'm very happy about the truck.

New to this site, but not posting or Dodge in general... Having issues with my Ram, hope for some help. Maybe I can offer some feedback at times with my experiences as well.

Thanks for the forum.

Welcome!! I hope we can help you figure out the problems with your Ram. The General Tech section of Dodge Ram section is filled with info or you can ask your question there.

Hola,

My name is Alex. I'm a native Southern Californian but am staying in Las Vegas right now for work purposes (no I'm not a pimp, or gigolo). I've had my '04 QC Hemi Ram for about 2 months now. It's white, decently loaded and 100% stock...for now.

Looking forward to enjoying this forum, I've been lurking for a few now.

i was wonderin why you cannot post the same topics in 2 different areas.it would just seem to me that bigg_billy wants an answer and the best way to get that answer is to ask more ppl.maybe some people frequent the general tech forum more than the 2nd generation forum.maybe some ppl dont even go to the gen tech.
im not trying to be rude and get anyone irritated,i would just like to know what the big deal is.i like this forum, theres alot of good info on here.ive been helped on more than one occasion.

Just because... we don't allow thing to be double posted... two threads can go very differently so keep it to one topic. I closed it and linked the other so it's not like I left him hanging.
