Guess what? I'm new

Hey there folks,
Couple of months ago I got myself a 92 Dakota with about 120k miles. I like itto bits, but it has issues which I'm tackling one by one now. Since I bought it, I've signed up with several forums already :P Just to find answers to all things I come across.
So now it has come to this; I finally started searching for help abroad and signed up here. The other forums don't seem to be too keen on cars from this era. Either it's too young to be a classic or it's too old to be cool. And offcourse, It's not a RAM, therefore it's only half a truck. Bogus offcourse, but that's how it is.
I'm not a mechanic, but I can understand what's going on quite ok. So now I'm gonna see if I can find any answers here.... I have a feeling I can. I already started looking in the other threads and have found some useful things. Plenty of stuff left, though, haha!
On a more personal note: I'm a freelance journalist and work for several bike magazines. That's why I opted for a truck, I can drive everywhere rain or shine and I can haul Bikes in the back. Besides that I'm a photographer too, but these two often mix.
In my free time I like to hammer my guitar on stage as you may have guessed. Started off playing bass, but now the band has found a lovely female bassist I've been able to move on to guitar. And a little synth too.
Here it is... I'm currently working on the rear cover to get it back in shape. On the other hand, I kinda like it open... don't think my folks do though, I've parked it in their front garden for the time being.
