Way new gal in DC
Hi, I'm glad I found this forum. I am very newbie gal to fixing my truck except for minor issues. But I did grow up in a "motorhead" town, so messing up my manicure helping in an engine or tires is not totally new. We've majorly renovated many houses as we've moved around for the military (AF). I can often fix my own appliances and broken power tools. So I think I'm up for the truck fixing challenge!!
I'm ready to do some performance upgrades and also have plenty of questions about new problems.
I'm a mechanical engineer (so is he), which any of you know equates to nowhere NEAR a mechanic or knowing what's under my Red's hood. I got the 98 Ram1500 because it was the first QC available--hey, gotta have an easy way to take the dog along. Hubby insisted I needed a big truck to keep me safer, but then there was the time getting lost in downtown Manhattan in my rolling giant...well Big Red had the right of way.
I just hope for patience here as I am so truck naive.
