Yea, I got Doc Fluty's truck.....
Like the title says, I ended up with his truck.. Traded in my 2010 Camaro SS for it. Yes I do miss the SS on a daily basis, but, unfortunately we do not have the funds for 3 cars.
I had a 2000 3.9 , no carpet, manual everything, Dodge ram and loved it until the new camaro came out. Well, I am one of those that has to have a truck. Finally was able to afford a new one. Bought it, kept it for about 6 months, and got another truck......
Now for the fun part..... I utilize a truck for what it is. I carry dirt, Am member of Tarrant County Skywarn, and help with damage assessment after a storm. So the mods have already began.
First thing was to get rid of the 24"s. Yes they looked freekin sweet. I just wanted something that did not "Stand out" so much. When I had the wheels on my 2k it got broken into on a daily basis. After reinstalling the stock wheels, she never was broken into again.
I bought a set of 17"s and had them powder coated. These will be used the majority of the time. I feel that they will be able to take the abuse..
Got a new set of 20"s. will post pics later. They do not look as good as the 24"s either but they will work for car shows and such.
Carried over a cubic yard of mulch the other day and have a show next week. We will see how this goes...
