Howdy....from Alberta
Hi folks,
I'm new here and hail from Edmonton, Alberta. I join this site to find out more about the Durango SUV.
You see, I'm planning to make a drive trip from here to Las Vegas this winter and thinking of making the Durango the ride of choice. Reason being, I need a 7 seater with enough luggage space for 2weeks.
I also found the used Durango (say 2007) to be more affordable compared to say the Expedition or the Navigator.
However, I'm concern of the Durango's reliability for such a long drive in winter.
Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site. I had a 2003 (first generation) Durango for four years and I currently have a 2007 (second generation) Durango for over four years now. In the eight years I had a Durango, I never had a problem with the engine (4.7 liter and 5.7 liter) and never got stuck in the snow with the 4x4 or AWD. I towed my Coronet on a car carrier with the 2007 Durango for four hours straight in ninety degree weather and it never overheated,
