Default New Member with questions about 07 Ram 1500

Hello everybody,

I own an "07" Dodge Ram 1500. I have questions on how to install a MyGiG radio with navigation (RER). I've read that the MyGiG radio is not capatable with the 07 Dodge Ram, only newer Dodge models, but a website called coastaletech.com has an adapter harness that makes it possible to install the new MyGig radio in the 07 Ram 1500..

The instructions that come with this adapter harness says that the MyGiG radio install depends on what speed electrical BUS my 07 Ram 1500 has. Either it has a low-speed or high-speed electrical BUS. Once I find out which speed BUS my truck has, I will then be able to buy the correct MyGiG radio for the install.

So, Does anyone know how can I find out If my 07 Ram 1500 has a low or high speed electrical BUS?

Then I would also need to find the correct size radio bezel to fit around my new MyGiG radio in the dashboard. The fractory radio that is installed now is not totally square but has squared corners with rounded sides to encompass the volume and select *****. I wish I took a picture to post here for you to see exactly what I'm talking about.

I'm also thinking that if I can identify a newer model dodge ram that has the MYGig already installed, I can then find out what its Radio bezels part number is and order it from the dealership. If its dashboard looks the same as mine.

Can anyone help me with these issues? If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
