Hi!
I have a 2005 Durango and love it but for one thing, gas mileage. I am VERY disappointed. I knew it wouldn't be great, but I expected better. According to the computer on the car I am only getting about 10 around the city. With the price of gas I am seriously considering getting rid of it.
I would like to know what kind of mileage other owners of '05's are getting.

welcome to DF
you may want to check it manually because the computers arent always that accurate, you'll also get more response if you ask questions like this in the durango section, theres alot more people there then in this forum
what engien did you get?

Agree with above, although the computer in my RAM is usually right on.
Sounds like you got the HEMI. Keep in mind, the mileage will get better as the truck breaks in. It'll never be a Prius, but it'll likely do better than 10MPG.
Too bad they didn't offer the multi-displacement technology on your truck. It could have helped the MPG, although even with the MDT the 300C and Magnum aren't producing great MPG numbers. The key is keeping your foot out of it...

I would help out, but my mom's is a Ford Explorer, and my only friend that owns an '05 Durango is a good distance away. Sorry. I might be able to call her and ask.
