Bought 2001 2500 Ram Van, typically a DSM driver
How's it going? My name is Sean I'm from Wilkes Barre PA. Located about 2 hours from Philly and New York City. Father of two with a second little girl on the way next month. I love life, and live to love it. I'm not an expert of any field, but am moderately into everything with strengths in a few fields. I am a DJ, Audio engineer, Radio personality, mix engineer, promoter, merchandiser, composer, producer, and wear pretty much any other hat which comes my way day to day.
I have always been into cars/suvs. Going fast was a primary concern in a lot of car purchases. To date I'm 26 and have owned at least 30 cars.
First car ever was an 87 Trans Am (which never left the driveway until I sold it)
First car I ever drove legally was a 92 Toyota Celica GTS coupe.
I have owned various things over the years. Currently my collection (or horded cars as my wife calls them) is spread out across 4 towns, and vary in condition from inspected/insured to partially restored, or garage kept for it's life like the 95 GSX.
01 Dodge Ram Van 2500 (new toy for the business)
96 Plymouth Neon (wifes daily)
95 BMW 740iL (daily driver)
95 Mitsbishi Eclipse GSX (300 awhp)
95 Eagle Talon TSi awd (550 awhp)
95 Geo Tracker (16 valve swap candidate or junk...haven't decided)
92 Mazda Miata ( this winters complete body work over, and turbo etc.)
72 Honda CB350 (collecting dust)
67 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 (1/8 stainless body in the works for about 10 years now)
I have always been into the DSM scene. I loved the concept of a sexy car from the factory turbo charged and ready to build serious power with simple bolt ons.
I've owned about 4 of these total at this point. My 95 GSX I've owned twice since 01 and it's been garage kept all it's life.
My mechanical skills are fair. However, I frequently break and snap things with ease making working on anything REALLY difficult and frustrating.
I have done a few engine rebuilds with other people, and recently did my first all alone. (I built a 4g63t for the 95 GSX) It runs, but I can't get the clutch to disengage now. So I built it right, but instead of reusing the old clutch/flywheel I should have had that stuff checked instead of putting it back on. (So keep in mind, if it worked before, it may not in the future, have the step clearance checked to be safe etc..)
Any how, I look forward to discussing things with you guys in the future. Thanks for having me. If your ever in the Wilkes Barre, Swoyersville area stop by Bingo's Hoagies and see me.
Here are some photos of my current collections, projects etc.. feel free to comment and post your own photos so we can get better acquainted.
