Hey does anybody know what brand turbo was on the old 2.2l turbo engines? Like the daytona, areis and such? Is it a Mitsubishi, Mitsu/ Garret combo, or is it a Garret? Where can I find a rebuild kit for it.

Im getting this turbo for free and im going put it on my 2003 2.4l dodge engine with an srt4 computer and im going to custom install it in the rear of my 1979 mazda rx-7. Basically im going to be building dodge turbo intercepter m4s.sound good???

 

84 to 87 Turbo 1 used a Garrett Turbo. 86 to 89 Turbo 2 were also Garrett. 88-92 Turbo 1
were Mitsubishi. 89-92 Turbo 3 were Garrett. Turbo 4 were also Garrett. Turbo 2,3,4 were intercooled. Turbo 1 were not.
