Default OIL Filters

Anyone wanting a large capacity oil filter for their V8? I use either a Wix 51773 or a Napa 1773, both of these hold an entire extra quart compared to the shorty filter that comes stock. Just did a little research and found these filter Part numbers which are also large filters; fram Ph977A, Puro L40017,AC Delco PF881, Motorcraft FL 299, & Fleet Guard FL697. I haven't physically gone and verified these but was assured they are a good cross reference match, so check them out and be sure!

I use fram extra guard #FPH8A
It is almost double the size and is originally for 1970's dogde engine's 426-318 ect.cid blocks.
Be warned this only will fit 2008 and older 5.7 hemi engines, I have heard the threads were changed to metric in 2009, it is a big difference so you wouldnt get it on anyway.
had mine on one month no leaks pressure great no more false oil pressure codes now!
