New guy from NV
Just stopping in and saying hello. I'm Matt and I live in the Las Vegas area with my wife and two daughters. Just recently, the wife and I have added another Dodge to our lineup.
She bought (new) a 2002 Dodge Stratus new before we met. It has a 2.4DOHC with an automatic. It is currently my daily driver with 158k +miles on it with the original engine and transmission. Other then tires/brakes/shocks/timing belt and water pump, the only things outside of normal 'wear' items we have had to do to the car is a radiator with new hoses, broken axle *I'm looking at my wife* and recently replaced the solenoid on the transmission (easy swap). The car has been very reliable and normal maintenance is easy and cheap (at least the transmission fluid (ATF+4) doesnt cost 10.00/quart like J/S-matic fluid does for the Titan
which we traded it on the Durango below).
Last week, I bought the wifey a 2005 Durango SLT with the 4.7 liter v8, awd and 3.92 gears. We both really like the durago. Plenty of room for all of us (and the 3rd row seating will be great when my parents are in town), runs smooth and rides nice. I drive it every chance I get, which isn't often. I am looking for a set of running boards for it so the step up into the durango isn't huge for my wife or my 4 year old, so any suggestions are welcome.
My "toy" is a (flame suit on?) 2001 Camaro SS with a 6 speed with 68k miles on it. Nothing fancy, but has a power steering cooler, aftermarket shifter and SLP spec'd catback, all factory options and were on the build sheet. The mods I have added are a free ram-air cutout mod, SLP lid and bilstein shocks. The car put down 316rwhp and 324rwtq on a dyno jet at Sin City Performance about a month ago.
Anyways, this is me and that is the cars we own. Hope everyone has a great day.
