Default New Guy - What I built

My name is Eric, although most of my garage buddies call me Scooter. I joined this forum to get and to give tech help when needed. I have a 1978 D150... Sorta. The body of one anyway, I put the '78 body on a 1985 W350 chassis and pulled my old worn 318 for a newer magnum version of the same thing. 5.2 Magnum is out of a 1996 and the NV3500 5 speed behind it, is out of a 2000. Its ok.. I know my truck is a mutt. Anyway. I look forward to exhanging ideas, pics, and help. Thanks.

Scooter.

Alright guys, I cant for the life of me figure out where one might go to start a new thread. I have questions for you, but nowhere to put 'em.

This may be problematic...considering the "blended" version Ram you have there! Interesting composition.

If the thread is related to the second generation parts of your truck, go to 2nd Genereation. When it pulls up, determine if the thread is technical or Gewnereal Discussion. If it is technical, you are where you need to be. On the upper left is a "New Thread" button. Click that and ylou are good to go! If it is a Genereal discussion item, then near the top is the FAQ/DIY section. Just below it is the General Discsussion loink. Click that one. Obviously, if it is about the body of the 1st Generation, then click the 1swt Gen link and everything is the same form there!

Welcome to DF. Looking forward to discussions about you "blending" (as opposed to the mutt concept). Lots of members often have questions about any number of mods that require lots of work and planning to be successful. Your experience will beintersting!

Dang. Thanks... I feel a little slow now. Ill be glad to help when I can, it has been quite the build so far with plenty more to come. Seems like everything I own gets major mods to fit my needs.
