'05 Magnum RT
Whew, this thing's fast.
Backstory: I became a father for the second time when my son was born last month. I became a father of "two under two." Diapers, crying, kids songs. I needed something other than an SUV/CUV. I love wagons/hot hatches/ Owned a Mazda 3 and traded it in for a Tiguan when the first kid was born. But it wasn't the same. Missed being close to the road.
The Magnum called. I searched and searched but boy are they hard to find, especially the RT's. Finally, found one, brilliant silver with 68k miles on it.
That Hemi is the therapy I needed. To connect to the force and the grunt and the speed of my former pre-fatherhood life. My wife seems amused by my purchase. But she understands. Besides. I found the perfect car: muscle, power, cargo space, spacious backseat.
Damn, I truly hope Dodge brings back the Magnum soon! I'll be first in line when they do.
