Loose the "g" on cummins and Welcome to DF.

An 05 is called a Common Rail cummins, 24v is the years 98.5-2002. But enough of the history lessons. It should "bolt" right up, there hasnt been many changes to the trans themselves over the years. But if it is an auto there may be problems getting it to work nicely. Are you putting the 12v in an 05body or a 05 trans in a 12v body? If its a manual tranny you shouldnt have much troubles either way.
