Hi, My name is Rich I'm married and live with my wife, son, daughter, and grand daughter in North Alabama.
I'm been a Dodge Fan since as young as I can remember. My father was a Big Richard Petty Fan when he was racing Dodges. From a young age I can remember watching NASCAR and always routing for Petty.
My family owned many Dodges. My dad had a Road Runner he loved that car. He won many drag races with it before I was born. We also had a Dart "Swinger" "Aspen" and Reliant K and Dakota.
Fast Forward I'm a NASCAR fan. 2001 was a happy year with all the Dodge Teams that came out...2002 Looked to be a good year for Dodge and Chip Ganassi Racing when Sterling Marlin was on his way to winning the Championship but the broke his neck. Then 2003 the CAT Dodge Driven by Ward Burton winning the Daytona 500.
Fast Forward this year and last year was a sad year seeing all the Dodge teams dissolve because of the ecomony. Seeing Petty go to Ford was hard to see. Penske has done really well being the only SRT team but now of course we hear that Penske is leaving Dodge. I think its a bad move...
Been hearing stories from people in the know over at the forums at NASCAR.com that suggest that Andretti will announce a Dodge Team for 2013 at the Brickyard and will share ownership of the team with Matt Kenseth and that possibly Home Depot with be leaving JGR to sponsor Matt..2nd Most talked about Dodge news over there is that Petty will be switching back to Mopar SRT next year...Anyone here heard anything about that...
