Hey ya mates! I'm a new Dodge driver after driving Fords for the last 20 years since moving from New Zealand to British Columbia, Canada. I was gifted a '04 Dakota 4x4 4.7 5 speed from my brother in-law in exchange for my labor to help him rip out his old wooden deck and build a new in-ground pool level stone patio ( 20' wide x 40' long ). The truck came with a couple of issues, needs new parking brake cable, broken parking brake lever and the wrong 4x4 actuator, fixed the 4x4 problem and carry/use chock blocks in the truck bed/box, as this truck is still new to me ( 2 weeks ) I can't say with any certainty whether I'm a convert or not, well @ $1.40 a litre of gas I'm not gonna convert anytime soon with this thirsty V8, but I can't wait to put it through it's paces in the bush/off road, cheers mates, catch y'all on the road
