Default New Guy From Denver

Hello!

Names Tyler and I just purchased an 05 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab With a Hemi. I'm new to the Dodge world, but not new to the Chrysler world. I've owned 2 Jeep Wranglers and 2 Jeep Patriots (wife's Car). I just traded in my Cobalt SS/SC (highly Modded) for somthng a bit more practical, and far less annoying.

This is my first V8, and my first with a 20+ gallon Gas tank ($$$$$!) I have to admit the initial price shock was a bit much.

The truck is in excellent condition for its age. She only had one other owner since new, and it was the GM's Son from the Dealership I bought it from. The paint is a 9 out of 10 with only very minor chips on the passenger door, and little to no swirl marks (that I can clearly make out). I'm unsure of the beds condition as it has the plastic liner, and I'm pretty sure it was placed in since new... so I'm sure the bed could use some work and some Rhino lining. Motor seems to run strong, no odd sounds, and she shifts gears smoothly. I'm SUPER impressed with the ride quality, as it's light years above what my Cobalt felt like and even my Lifted and none lifted Jeeps. (apples to organes, I know...) but still.

I love forums, and I’ve been a part of them for most my driving career with just about every vehicle I’ve ever owned. I try to stay super active, I’ve been a basic member, to a moderator and lastly I’m a forum site creator / co-founder for a local Car club / forum board, here in my great state of Colorado. And yes the club took off and has well over 300 active members within 2 1/2 years.
Alas I’m now done with that car, and it's time to move on to bigger and better things.

To start things off on the right foot, I'm looking to add some Black powder coated Nerf bars to the truck first thing, as I'm fairly short guy and I'm having a hard time stepping into my truck, and assistance with a good aftermarket shop or a good deal would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for having me, and I'm sure we'll get along great!

Ohh and here's a quick pic I snapped of the truck this morning.
