I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 4x2 with the 5.2 with a 340 crank, i have done alot of motor work to this truck. i have a 15:1 compression ratio, the issue i am having after 5 yrs and 61,000 miles is, it started as a random misfire on cyl. 5 and 7, i replaced cap, rotor, plugs and wires, truck ran great for 3 wks, then after it rained it started doing what is was before the tune up. What could be the problem? It only does it sporadically, and makes gurgling sound when on throttle, and starts bucking.
