Hi- I bought a 2004 Durango yesterday and noticed a few things that I was hoping to get help for.

1.) When I first enter the vehicle, open a door, etc. There is an annoying "clicking" noise coming from the dash. It stops after a few seconds and everything seems fine. It almost seems like some kind of alarm, but the vehicle has no alarm. What is that?

2.) While driving, If I roll down the back seat windows without cracking or rolling down the front windows- an ungodly noise occurs which sounds like a helicopter is sitting on the roof of the vehicle. It makes my ears pop too- it feels like a change in cabin pressure or something. As soon as I roll or even just crack the front windows- it goes away...

So yeah- my bubble is bursted a little here on my 2nd day... Can anyone shed any light on this..?

 

same noise on my wifes durango...i know what your talkin about...
