Im new to this forum. just got a 96 dodge ram thats been painted purple (not by me of course) its only got 147k miles on it, about to get 3 inch lift and 35's. and a new paint job just looking for ideas on that one still. it been giving me tranny problems lately just not shifting right and being a pain in the butt but it needs a tranny flush and filter and a seal kit cause it was ran low in fluid for who knows how long. also need to do the rear main seal on it or just rebuild the engine. also my speedo is fast by about 10 miles an hour and its hard to start after sitting for a couple hours just wondering what might cause that problem, im thinking its the pcm based on how my scan gauge is reading the output of the pcm its saying im getting 50 mpg average just saying its not reading right. i have thought about getting a 5.9 pcm for it and swapping that in in place of the 5.2 one thats in it right now. also would like some suggestions on it just let me know peeps thanks

 

welcome to DF. check out the "2nd Gen Ram" section of the forum, start a thread or two in there regarding some of the problems you are having with your truck. That sectin seems to get a little more exposure, hopefully you'll be on your way to solving a problem or two
