I just purchased an 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. The owner had only one wireless remote key, this is the seven button type. The dealers want $212 for the remote, key and program. There are several remotes online for $25 but have to get a new key cut and have programmed. The dealer tells me that the remote can only be programmed once. Is this correct or are they trying to discourage me from buying it online? I would like to save a few dollars but don't want to get stuck with an remote I can't use.
