1979 Dodge Adventurer
Hello All!
Thought I'd join this forum for advice on making my 1979 Dodge Adventurer awesome again. I am the Fourth owner after the man who bought it new, my Grandfather who bought it in 1982, and my Mom. It needs a little TLC, and I want to go through all of its systems and improve them to better-than-spec. The interior also needs a little help, I'll need new carpet and to reupholster the bench seat.
Otherwise, this is an awesome truck. It has the 318 engine, but with the single barrel carb (that's on the list of things to be changed) and an automatic transmission. Grandpa rebuilt the engine in the mid to late 90's.
I'll be seeking advice in time about all of these things. I am an over-the-road truck driver so I only get home about once or twice a month. It is always enjoyable to get home and take ol' Bessie out for a spin.
