I am overjoyed to find this site/forum.

My name is Robert and I look forward to finding many items in the forum to answer my questions and solve my issues.

My wife and I have been looking to buy a Conversion van to travel with. Seeing the high cost of a brand new one, we found a Shiny Red 2002 dodge ram 1500 conversion van at a disposable price if we find we do not enjoy it.

Question #1
The shifting lever does notalways want to go from park to drive. It seems to hang up and not unlock when attempting to shift out of park.
Any Suggestions?

Question # 2
When first starting out in the morning or evening, when slowly accelerating, it sounds like a jet engine reving up getting ready for take off. I am sure that it is drinking gallons of fuel in the first 15 minutes of driveing. Then when the van is warmed up it stops raceing.
Any Suggestions?

This may be normal features that I am unaware of. If so, please let me know.
