Can anyone help me? I have a 05 Dodge 1500 4x4 quad cab, 5.7 hemi. The first power steering pump slowly went out at 65K miles. So I bought a Cardone 20-269 Remanufactured Power Steering Pump and had it installed.

Yesterday after 6 months and the truck having 69K miles the pump started to make a little chatter and whine noise then pissed all the fluid out the bottom and stopped working.

Should I get the same pump? DO they make a better one? Im open to suggestions!

Oh and I live in Maui so thats why the miles are so low in 6 months incase anyone was wondering.
