Not my first Dodge, but it is the first i'm proud of. My other being a Grand Caravan.

I just bought a 2005 Ram SLT 1500 Quad Cab with the 5.7 Hemi. Looking to improve gas mileage on it. Everything on it is stock at this point. I've ordered a Volant CAI. Hopefully shows up this week so I can install it this weekend.

Then am also interested in doing a cat-back exhaust upgrade. I'm just starting research on them, as I've never replaced any before. Mostly looking for less restriction 1st, but I won't complain if it makes it sound better too!

I have already tried the exhaust routine on my 2012 ram hemi did not help feul mileage it dropped by 2 miles per gallon , went back to stock exhaust mileage picked up 2 miles per gallon changed over to k&n drop in air filter , changed to royal purple 5w-20w motor oil gained and additional 2.9 mpg 17.9 city 23.2 highway thanks allen
