Hey everyone, my name is Chuck and I have an addiction lol This is my second Dodge Ram in my driving career. I recently traded off my fully built Jeep YJ for a 1997 Ram 1500, ext.cab short box. I am really happy with the upgrade haha.

since the picture was taken I have replaced the tires. it came with LT325/60r18 Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's. I got my fingers on a set of LT275/70r18 General Grabber AT2's from work and installed them yesterday. the truck is fully loaded, 360 automatic. I am in love with fullsize again haha

my old Ram was a 1989 Power Ram 150LE that had a 4 inch lift running 35" Geolanders

Welcome to the forum Chuck. Check out the 2nd gen Ram section. Lots of good info there. Be sure to read the sticky regarding the intake plenum, that shold be the first thing you check.

Thanks for the info. my father in law bought a 2000 ram a few months ago and told me the same thing when i got mine. i've found the TSB section and have already bookmarked the page I need to get it figured out when i drove the truck home and tried to pass someone on the highway the CEL started to flash and the truck started to hiccup and misfire quite badly. turns out the #8 plug was all gross and gummed up, i'm assuming from the leaking plenum gasket hahaha

Welcome to DF. Manny. Head over to the 2nd gen Ram section. In the future, start your own threads instead of posting inside someone elses threads, makes it easier for people to answer your specific questions. : )
