Default Tpms bs

Here's what I know about TPMS: Dorman aftermarket sensors are self programming. Just drive. I bought 4 used Charger RT wheels and 4 Dorman sensors ($104.00). I brought the tires to a Meineke and had them mounted to the wheels after I assembled the sensors on the wheels. When I changed the snow tires with the original factory sensors to the wheels and sensors I bought, everything worked great without a low tire pressure warning. I surmise dealership's must program their sensors because of liabilty issues. They cannot let any vehicle out of their custody with that warning light on. And so they charge $120.00 for one TPMS service kit install!

Welcome to DF. Assuming you own a charger, head on over to the charger forum and post your question.
