Default My poor ole Ram and I.

Hello from Tennessee.

I am the happy owner of my second Ram 1500. I almost forgot how much I missed having a truck. Now all I need to do is get her in decent shape so I can get a Jeep too.

Below are pictures I took the day I bought her. That was September of last year. Didn't take long for the Transmission to finish dieing. It spent several months at a shady shop only to still have issues.

I've been browsing here since before I bought the truck. Just figured I would register and actually jump in the conversation some.

Now to the pictures...

Welcome to DF! I'm sure by now you have checked out the 2nd gen ram section. You'll get lots of help over there.

I don't think you guys offer the kind of help I need. I'm sure you have plenty of advice for fixing up the truck though.

Well, I have a kitchen to remodel, flooring to install, and a roof to fix on the house. The shop needs to be completely tore down and a concrete pad poured. Fish to catch. A garden to tend. By then I'll have coyote and deer to shoot. Every once in awhile I have to work in between all of that. As well as keep the little lady happy.

More specific to this site I need to get my truck in a more dependable condition and then make it a little nicer to ride in. I'll start a thread in the 2nd Gen Forum for that.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Oh, that kind of help. I can do all that stuff, to bad you are in TN. Only thing i don't do is shoot wildlife. Shot a bird with a BB gun when I was a kid, and the trauma of killing it took away any chance of hunting. LOL
