Default Hey!

Hi, I'm Zach. I'm not a mechanic and I don't pretend to be, but I'm trying to learn some stuff at the very least. My dad was a mechanic of many many years (and a Mopar man at that), but when he passed away in '08 I was left trying to figure stuff out myself without knowing as much as how to do an oil change at the time. I started doing some stuff with a buddy of mine who builds trucks from nearly the ground up and have had several vehicles of my own that I had to either learn to keep running or be without a vehicle, but when it comes to doing stuff by myself I'm still very much a novice.

I recently obtained a '90 Dakota through various trades. It ain't much to look at, and since I got it in January it's just about been off the road more than it has been on due to various little issues, but I've learned a few things so it's been a fun project to learn on and with a little bit of work I'm sure I can get the thing to the point of being a pretty reliable little vehicle. Thought it'd probably benefit me to be a part of a forum with people that probably know more than I do, so here I am!
